Morning Scripture To Start Your Day

The best way to start any day is with The Word of God. Reading it, praying it and confessing it over your life each day prepares you spiritually for whatever Satan and the world may throw at you and helps you 'set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.' (Colossians 3:2)

Here are some scriptures that will help you kickstart your day--each day-- with a spiritual boost:

1. Psalm 118:24

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

2. Proverb 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

3. Isaiah 26:3

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

4. Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

5. Psalm 23

The Lord is my sheperd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

6. Psalm 91

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7. Isaiah 54: 17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
