Thanks for the laughter in my work week. I have to agree that No. 8 is actually true but In light of those who are unaware it is quite funny. The higher on the ladder the more you have to work to stay there.

Teaches12345, I'm laughing as I'm writing this because your comment about #8 is so true. That's why I don't understand why so many people want to be the big boss. Then once they are they realize it's not all it was made out to be. Like you said the higher on the ladder you go the more work you're gonna have to do = more stress + headaches + a whole lot of other issues.
I'm all for people reaching for promotions and elevation in their work if that's what they want, but so often they forget that it's gonna mean more than a bigger paycheck. All they can see is their desire to be the boss.

#5 is my favorite on this list. However, I'm amazed with myself more than with work because it looks like I'm going to earn a PhD title in procrastination. Once I get going, I'm a hard workoholic, though. Great quotes :) Here's one I picked up while drinking coffee:
